Cubs in Nature

Lion Cubs

You would all like a lion cub as a pet wouldn't you? But, when they grow-up big and strong, then they would roar really loud and keep you awake!

Your neighbors would not be happy at all! Plus, as well as eating all of your dinner, a lion would trash your house! HELP!

What's it all about?

Fun, Friendship and Adventure

Our Cub Scouts participate in a programme of games, crafts, nature study and outdoor activities, such as nature walks, orienteering, basic pioneering, camping and physical activities.

Scouting is about 'Fun, Friendship and Adventure,' but it is also about learning by doing, and putting into practice the skills they learn through the Cub Scout Award Scheme.

Earn Merit Badges

Badges Galore

Individual Cub Scouts can choose to seek merit badges in areas of their own interest. It is both fun and a challenge to earn these merit badges.

Ask any former Scout and they will tell you the same thing.

The Cub Scout Prayer

In my Honour, and through the Grace of God...

Faith is very important within The Parish of Ballinascreen, as evident within the Unit as each section has its very own prayer, which is said at both the start and end of every Group Section evening meeting.
