How it all Began

Within 1994, a local Draperstown woman traveled to work with her friend - a Scouting Commissioner.

Nancy Hegarty was impressed by the Scouting stories. She was inspired.

Scout Awareness Evening

Nancy and the Commissioner led the evening within theSt. Colm's High School, which saw interest from other inspirational people in the audience.

These people became Leaders; and made history... the Creation of:

'The 33rd Derry Ballinascreen Scouts.'
